Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 - With generous donations from friends and family as well as Don Valley Dental in Toronto, we were able to donate Personal care as well as Dental kits to over 3 shelters. A total of 48 Personal Care kits were distributed equally to  Herstreet Foundation (Olga House) and the Old Brewery Mission for Women

This month, we also decided to extend our mission to helping men in need by assembling and donating personal care kits with soaps, razors, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. To mark the beginning of something that we hope to continue with, we dropped off 20 kits to the The Old Brewery Mission for Men.

We hope to reach our goal of collecting enough for 300 kits (199 more kits to go!!) by end of November and encourage you to get in contact with us if you have a donation you would like to place.

Monday, September 14th, 2009 - Since starting the Devi initiative last July we have received a tremendous amount of donations from friends, family members, and young professionals who accumulated products from business trips across Canada and Europe. We collected enough travel size hair care products, soap bars, combs, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to assembe a  total of 53 personal care kits which were sealed and labelled prior to being distributed to 2 women's shelters in Montreal: La Maison Marguerite and Auberge Madeleine
