According to Statistics Canada, over 100,000 women and children stayed
in shelters in 2008, the majority there to escape abuse.
Shelters can provide women with food and a shelter, but they are often limited in providing them with basic products that will make them feel beautiful, clean, and can contribute to reinforcing their self-esteem.
This is a small initiative but hopefully will grow bigger with your help.
Our mission is to encourage individuals to be conscious. Conscious of the beauty items we receive that we may never use,that we may give away to friends
and family or end up throwing away.
The idea is to start a network of donations - your samples from cosmetic counters, toiletries from hotels & airlines and other useful hygienic items.
By turning this into a useful service, we can build a network of donations
that support women and youths.
This is a network of giving.
